This is our PRAYER REQUEST PAGE. Periodically, we will be posting Silver Cord Ministries Prayer Requests. We ask you to please consider them, pray for them, and Donate so Silver Cord Ministries can continue ministering to Vulnerable Adults in the USA and Internationally. God Bless You Richly, for being a Blessing to "the least of these."

PRAYER REQUESTS FOR RESIDENTS:
Please pray for A. She is a Jewish woman who is struggling with depression. She has loved coming to our church services, but now we aren't meeting. Pray that she feels well enough to participate in the Skype calls. Pray that she continues to attend our church services when COVID-19 is over, so she can continue to hear of her need for Yeshua as her Messiah. Pray that she will see that need and respond to His Call on her life!
Please pray for R. and her husband. She has been bedridden and failing for several months. Pray that she is peaceful and comfortable. Pray that we can be a testimony to her husband, so he might desire a personal relationship with Jesus. This has been an especially difficult time, not being able to see each other. (He was accustomed to staying with his wife for close to 8 hours/day.) Therefore, he made the difficult decision in April to move his wife to a private home, where he will care for her 24 hours/day. They will still have Hospice Services to assist them, as well as a family friend, in whose home they are staying. Pray that this transition goes well.
Please pray for S. She has been a believer for decades. Over the several years that we have known her, she has been slowly failing. She still loves to come to our church services. Pray that she will continue to feel the Lord's comforting arms around her, as she worships without speaking. Pray that she continues to feel joyful, in the midst of her failing body. We are blessed to be able to Skype with her, so she can see and hear us. God is gracious in allowing us to pray for her, via Skype, as well.
Pray for O. He has good days and bad days. I know he is missing the visits from his wife! This isolation is really taking its toll on him and his disposition. Pray that Jesus will break through his anger and pain, to change his life.
Pray for all the Staff at these Long-Term Care Facilities. They have added cleaning/sterilizing duties. They have added Activity duties, as outside Activity Personnel are not allowed in the buildings. They experience added stress as the residents are bored quite quickly! They need energy and not to be overwhelmed! We are grateful, everyday, for these "Angels of Mercy!"
